TRANSFORMATION

It was a dreary day in early March; standing at the kitchen sink a movement caught my attention. When looking up, I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was a butterfly! A yellow swallowtail dancing around the window sill! How could this be? They typically show up in July and August!  I knew if I caught it, and put her outside, she would surely die. So, I wrote a poem for her. Sadly, she passed away a few days later. I placed her in my trophy case. See the poem I wrote for her.

It is coming soon, our time to dance,
Plant your dreams, Believe your inner visions,
Stand attention for a new dimension!
Grasp the chance, find your romance
Life is such a passing dream …
Create joy and nourish you schemes,
Exhale and Fly, before time passes you by…
